Plot
A wealthy family living in a salt mine meets a stranger decades later. Joshua Oppenheimer described the film as an exploration of whether we as humans can get to a point where our guilt is too great to escape our past.
Nice environmental setting (scenery)
A bunker parody and a musical sing-along? Okay I’m puzzled but intrigued.
It’s not science fiction
At least one or two good actors (especially Tilda Swindon) however they are all just imitating snobs, helpers, working class caricatures… There’s no backstory, no depth, no plot and for some reason she doesn’t seem to miss a meal after barely surviving something outside, even though she sings well.
Without spoiling anything, you can expect something like that in 3 hours
The ending is perhaps the best part of this film, with its own sing-song and discovery theater that you could have written yourself for someone you hate (especially if you think global warming is entirely to blame for a few wealthy individuals).
