Original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games are featured in this animated anthology series. We’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations into films and shows. Clive Standen reprises his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the main character of the video game Space Marine 2.

Or very loosely based on the game settings. Very different games, from Pac-Man to Warhammer 40,0 Even Concord, where I assume the creators cursed themselves when they saw what the game ended up being. They’re mostly stories about mostly mediocre games that I’ve never even heard of.

The visuals are great, though

But aside from one or two outliers, there’s little substance. I’m sure the cutscenes for most of these games were better. Let’s not compare it to anthology shows like Black Mirror or Love Death and Robots.

Still. It’s made by people who seem to be gamers. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
