Original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games are featured in this animated anthology series. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations in film and television. Clive Standen will reprise his voice as Demetrius Titus, the main character from the video game Space Marine 2. The episode is set after the events of the game. Referenced in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). I’ve always wanted a series like this. When I watch trailers for movies or video game footage, I often think that some of them would make it onto television. I knew the creators of Love Death and Robots were going to make another animated anthology series and I’m glad I was right. The Warhammer episode was definitely the highlight for me so far. I really hope to see more in the future. My only complaint would be that certain episodes were given more time. There are so many solid video game stories that this show could delve into and adapt into more detailed episodes, the possibilities are very exciting and I’m glad they went with a more mature and gritty tone. I’m really pleased with what’s been shown so far and looking forward to what’s to come. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of this month.
