Plot

A family becomes convinced they are not alone after moving into their new suburban home. Although it was well received at the Sundance Film Festival, some viewers walked away due to its intensity. One person said, “I can’t handle this stress so late at night.” Quoted in Amanda the Jedi Show: NIGHT SWIM is Garbage | Explained (2024). This is a fantastic movie. The actors are excellent and the movie really pulls you into their world and keeps you engrossed in what is happening. I found myself quite engrossed in the drama and suspense. The ending was disturbing and stuck with me for a few days, which is quite rare for a movie. I think this will be a very popular movie when it comes out. If not for some reason, it will be popular years from now and people will wonder why it wasn’t more well known when it came out. I would love to see it again, but only with a friend, to see if he is as haunted afterwards as I was.
