Typically a landowner’s job is to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for workers (man camp), oversee the assembly of excavators, and the drilling of the construction site itself, especially in remote locations.

Love this good show, a different story, keeps your attention

Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy is great and likes to learn more about how the oil industry works. I’m also in love with some strong characters, Jon Hamm as a cool guy and Demi Moore as his oil tycoon wife, she’s inspiring because she’s beautiful.

Billy Bob’s Tommy is certainly a better actor or equal to John Dutton

Another tough guy, a tough life from Sheridan Smith and always a good theme song. I just have Paramount to watch their stuff and be thankful that this show is heading towards a show that will include Yellowstone.

I hope we don’t have to wait years for another series
